About me

Hannah Nicole Simpson sitting in cobbler pose on a sunny roof by the sea

Hi, I’m Hannah and I am a lifelong yoga enthusiast, certified yoga teacher and lover of wibbly warm ups and long, soothing savasanas.

I am based in Edinburgh, UK, and I teach both yin and flow classes at present.

I take a functional approach to all my teaching, which means instead of being taught the aesthetics of a pose in a rigid manner, we explore variations and how our unique musculoskeletal configuration might make some poses look or feel different in each body.

As a long-time sufferer of back and various other pains, and someone who has had many injuries, I advocate for lifelong health and wellbeing over achieving the ‘ideal pose’. If you’d like to get stronger and more flexible so you can live a long, healthy life, I’d love to see you in my classes.

My training
